The adhesion required by the paver during operation is realized by the friction between the rubber on the track shoe and the ground. The steering is realized by the difference in the running speed of the tracks on both sides. During the steering, the lateral displacement of the track shoe will generate large friction with the ground. If the strength or deformation capacity of the rubber is insufficient, the track shoe will be seriously damaged, such as wear.

 

When paving hot mix asphalt mixture in summer, the increase of ambient temperature leads to the decrease of rubber deformation capacity, and the damage is serious.

 

Therefore, the rubber quality of the track shoe determines the quality of the track shoe, and natural rubber is the first choice!
